In this day and age of busy stressful lives, we all want easy food that is for sure. However easy food can also mean poor nutrition as we grab something from a take away or maybe do not have time to pay attention to what we make for our children to take to school.
What we need is something quick, healthy and tasting good. Whether that is easy food for meat eaters or vegetarian easy food does not matter. The choices we make about the finer points of what we choose to eat should not affect the availability of quick healthy, vegetarian healthy options. One group of the population not to be forgotten is those that eat student food. Student food can apply to children and adults alike, many of those people seeking student food are on low budgets so affordability comes into the equation.
I fall into many groups, I want quick healthy, vegetarian healthy and student food all rolled into one. That is why I really started to look at the subject of nutrition at a young age. My poor mother had to cook different choices for the family, I decided to go vegetarian healthy and guess what, my two younger sisters followed suit. My mother, bless her for allowing me and my sisters to make a choice started to search for vegetarian healthy options for us all to eat which were quick healthy alternatives as my brother, my dad and my mum still ate meat.
I left home soon after my decision to seek a vegetarian healthy lifestyle so had to discover for myself how to survive. My mother was left to find quick healthy, vegetarian easy options for my 2 sisters until they made their own way in the world too. Of course there was much communication between my mother and me swapping ideas.
I learnt so much, I ate so many different things but above all I found a quick healthy, vegetarian easy alternative for myself. I learnt how to make easy food and still enjoy eating it.
